Whilst I have always billed, and subsequently used Kettner’s as a pre/post theatre restaurant…today the girls and I headed there for a champagne afternoon tea. Booked through bookatable at only £21 for a glass of champagne, huge selection of tea and the usual afternoon tea suspects, I think Kettner’s is on par with some of the 5 star hotels! Whilst what was on offer was the usual selection, the taste, quantity and quality far surpassed said 5 star hotels and I’ve sampled them all. Between the 3 of us we were unable to finish our sandwiches, scones and cakes and I hand on heart believe the macaroons were some of the best I have tasted. I highly recommend and will definitely go back!
