For a restaurant that has been the heart and soul of the city since 1987, why after working for the past five years within a two minute walk away have I never been here??? Lunch today was amazing, am usually up for minimum choices on a menu but their menu and each and every item was sublime. I skipped the starter (am going to Spain next week, bikini body and all) and straight for the Sea Bass. Cooked so it melted in your mouth, served with sauté spinach it was gorgeous.
Whilst the wine list looked lovely, I was of course working so went for a small glass of their Sauvignon Blanc Chateau Tour Mirambeau, 2010 from France which, at only £5.30 a glass was equally gorgeous.
I can honestly say I will be back again. It’s a great place for a business meeting or, to sit outside in this lovely sunshine with your friends sampling more than just one glass of wine!
